* Monitors and analyzes performance metrics, such as website traffic, engagements, conversions, and use data-driven insights to refine content strategies. * Collaborates with project owners and colleagues to align and leverage content across channels. * Ensures content meets style guide, editorial, and accessibility guidelines, and follows the UW-Madison/School of Human Ecology brand voice and tone. * Writes and edits content for accuracy, plain language, search engine optimization (SEO) and its appropriateness for target audiences. * Makes timely edits, updates, and ensures information on websites is accurate and engaging. * Develops schedules, workflows, and content inventories, conducts gap analysis, collaborates on visual design. The ideal candidate is a service-oriented, flexible problem solver, able to listen to and communicate with stakeholders across all areas of the school. Reporting to the Associate Dean of Advancement and Communications, the Digital Content Strategist is a member of the Communications and Advancement team, and will be responsible for website administration and management, including planning, creating, editing, and managing content that support the school's strategic goals and initiatives. This role is ideal for an experienced person within web development, digital marketing, or other communications fields.
